Watched the Auld Firm gemme last night...



Celtic looked slick, knocking the ball about beautifully, but
lacked a bit of their usual deftness upfront; this could have
been due to the fact Chris Sutton wasn't playing or that Rangers
had 11 men in their own half for a lot of the game. To be fair
Rangers came into the game a bit more in the second half & had
a few chances, courtesy of some dodgy marking in the Celtic penalty
area. Thompson's goal was a peach - world class. Hugh Dallas looked
like he might have been on the Rangers books at times - alex rae
getting away with murder.

Juninho was magnificent; It might be the wee laddie in me but,
it's a real treat to watch him running at players & scaring the
shit out of the Rangers defence. Camara looked keen but has yet
to gel with the other players. The rest of the team played well
with Lennon in particular marshalling the midfield with his usual
aplomb. A few training sessions & a few more games and we might
see just how good this Celtic team can be.
